i have a high rpm engine "sputter" after i get into 4th gear, new plugs, new wires anyone have a clue as to what might caue this?

I'm not even going to speculate what that could be. I can't
imagine what the connection would be between 4th gear, high
RPM's and a sputter. (Carburetor maybe?) Or possibly your
ignition is acting flaky. Post your question on the Gilroy
Indian Forum and you'll get plenty of recommendations.
There's probably been about 10 guys who's had the same
problem as you.
